We are a leading provider of care for individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders, offering comprehensive services from detoxification to recovery therapy. Our mission is to prioritize patient well-being and deliver the highest standard of care. We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Technician to join our Full-Time team and make a difference in our patients' lives.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Core Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications accurately and promptly, adhering to nursing standards and physician directives.
• Educate patients about their medications, ensuring understanding and compliance, and report any issues to supervising medical staff.
• Maintain detailed records of patient activities, including admissions, discharges, and external medical visits, escalating abnormalities when needed.
• Document detoxification progress, noting behavioral and physical changes, and notify the appropriate medical staff of concerns.
• Record all treatments and patient outcomes in medical records and escalate issues as necessary.
• Conduct vital sign checks and withdrawal assessments in line with patient treatment plans.
• Contribute to data collection for quality improvement initiatives, including incident reporting and risk management.

Requirements

Education & Licensing:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Active NY State Nursing License and Registration.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; addiction treatment experience preferred.

Skills:

• Proficient with electronic medical records and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
• Time management and organizational skills.
